Indicators for the weakening of anti-epidemic measures as of 10.06.2020

Indicators for the weakening of anti-epidemic measures as of 10.06.2020

Regions transition to the second stage of the quarantine will be possible, if the epidemiological situation in the oblast meets certain criteria.

These criteria show the control of the virus transmission, the level of the treatment network capacity, epidemiological facilities, and general  health care system capacity to combat the spread of acute respiratory disease COVID-19 caused by SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus. Accordingly, it allows us to control the epidemic situation at the current data level:

Incidence (the number of new cases of COVID-19 in the last 7 days per 100,000 population) is less than 12 cases per 100,000 population (weekly incidence per 100,000 population during the conditional peak of the epidemic in Ukraine + 50%);

Hospital system load, which identified for hospitalization of patients with COVID-19, is less than 50% (sufficient to provide inpatient care for patients with a certain level of morbidity and taking into account the reserve in case of its growth);

Testing coverage is not lower than the incidence level. So, the average number of tests (polymerase chain reaction and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay) over the last 7 days is more than 12 per 100,000 population.
